Asylum seekers to be sent to US in 'refugee exchange'

I have noticed you have been posting some bulletins in relation to US immigration and subjects like that. I thought that this article may be of interest to you:

US/Australia Refugee deal

Those 200 or so Australian refugees spoken of are "boat people" which were intercepted by our Navy and are being detained, these are illegal immigrants, and it seems that instead of sending them home, this country would rather burden yours with them, and yours send us some Cubans in return.

Asylum seekers to be sent to US in 'refugee exchange'
By 7News Asylum seekers on Nauru are to be sent to the US under a "refugee exchange" program announced by the Federal Government.

Up to 200 refugees will be resettled in America each year.

In return, the same number of Cubans seeking asylum in the US will be brought to Australia.

The first group of refugees currently on Nauru to be included in the program include 83 Sri Lankans and eight people from Burma.

A group of about 150 Cuban refugees detained at Guantanamo Bay could arrive in Australia later this year.

The exchange agreement is the first of its kind between Australia and another country.

Immigration Minister Kevin Andrews told The Australian newspaper the scheme would ensure "the integrity of Australia's borders is maintained by providing protection for those who need it".

Yeah they will be raising hell here and getting everything free just like the rest of them. When I was in Maryland back in January, all the shuttle bus drivers were from Haiti.
