George Bush Committing Tyranny Against United States - Impeach Him NOW !!!

By Stephen Dinan
THE WASHINGTON TIMES
June 16, 2007

President Bush yesterday told Hispanics to step into the middle of the immigration debate and make sure senators who have been bombarded with calls from opponents also hear from those who support the bill. "There's a lot of emotion on this issue, and it makes sense to have people from around the country come and sit down with members of Congress to talk rationally about the issue," he told those attending the Hispanic Prayer Breakfast in Washington yesterday.
He was speaking a day after the bill, which collapsed last week, was revived by the top Democrat and Republican in the Senate.
Majority Leader Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat, agreed to put the bill back on the Senate's schedule next week, and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, Kentucky Republican, agreed to limit the number of amendments Republicans would offer.
But roadblocks are already popping up.
Sen. Jim DeMint, South Carolina Republican, said he will block any attempt to send the bill to an eventual House-Senate conference, complicating the usual path a bill takes to reach the president's desk.
"Ted Kennedy has sold us another bill of goods and I don't trust him to make even more changes to it behind closed doors in a conference with the House," Mr. DeMint said, referring to the Massachusetts Democrat who has spearheaded the bill along with Sen. Jon Kyl, Arizona Republican.
Senate aides said Mr. DeMint's threat is many steps away, and they will address it when they come to it. But Democrats said it does underscore some Republicans' repeated attempts to block the bill.
"Republicans like Senator DeMint have a very simple decision to make: Are they going to work with Democrats to strengthen border security and pass comprehensive immigration reform, or are they going to continue to obstruct and delay?" said Jim Manley, a spokesman for Mr. Reid.
Yesterday, Mr. Reid said he will keep the Senate in session as long as needed to ensure the immigration bill and the energy bill, which is already on the Senate floor, are finished. He said he will keep senators here during their scheduled July Fourth vacation if need be.
Mr. Reid also said he will be the one to add $4.4 billion in guaranteed border security funding to the bill -- stealing the thunder from Republican senators and Mr. Bush, who endorsed the idea Thursday as a way of winning the support of those who say the government can't be trusted to follow through on enforcement.
"When the bill returns to the Senate floor, I plan to add $4.4 billion in guaranteed funding -- to be funded by the fees and penalties established by the bill's new programs -- to strengthen border security and speed other important elements of comprehensive reform," Mr. Reid said.
The bill is the result of a "grand bargain" struck by a small bipartisan group of senators and the Bush administration that offers illegal aliens a path to citizenship, creates a new program for future temporary foreign workers and creates a new point system for selecting future immigrants that would favor those with needed skills and education.
Both Democrats and Republicans have exchanged tentative lists of amendments that would be considered when the debate resumes. The list includes changes to the point system, additional guaranteed resources for border security and stiffer penalties for employers that break the law.
Among the potential deal-breaking amendments would be: Eliminating the path to citizenship for illegal aliens; changing the 2005 Real I.D. Act that imposed a standard for driver's licenses; delaying legalization of illegal aliens until border security is completed; and requiring illegal aliens to show they have roots in the community to be eligible for the path to citizenship.
Mr. Kennedy, Mr. Kyl and others involved in the grand bargain have been successful in fending off most challenges to the bill, and leaders on both sides have said any deal-breaker amendments that pass can always be dumped in a House-Senate conference.
But that is exactly what worries conservatives such as Mr. DeMint, and prompted his pledge to block a conference.
The Bush administration is making a full-court press for the bill, rallying grass-roots and business group leaders at a meeting in the White House complex yesterday, while Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff visited a construction company in the District to watch a demonstration of what will become the employment-verification system.
He said the pilot program is working well, but has a flaw -- it can't weed out illegal aliens who are using real Social Security numbers stolen from someone else. He said the Senate bill changes that.
"Right now the law forbids us from getting into Social Security to determine whether we can verify in fact the genuine owner of the number and whether we've got two people using the same number at the same time," he said. "The only way to get that is for Congress to pass this bill."
In his remarks at the prayer breakfast yesterday, Mr. Bush made a pitch for passing a bill that addresses many parts of the immigration issue: better enforcement, a temporary worker program, legalization for illegal aliens and assimilation for new immigrants.
"That's what has always made our nation strong. People in America must have confidence in this country to help people assimilate," he said.

Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas Helping Pollute USAI

Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas is a fairly famous institution and for a variety of reasons:

1. John F. Kennedy died there in 1963
2. Lee Harvey Oswald died there shortly after
3. Jack Ruby-who killed Lee Harvey Oswald, died there a few years later.

"On the flip side, Parkland is also home to the second busiest maternity ward in the country with almost 16,000 new babies arriving each year. (That's almost 44 per day---every day)

A recent patient survey indicated that 70 percent of the women who gave birth at Parkland in the first three months of 2006 were illegal immigrants. That's 11,200 anchor babies born every year just in Dallas . According to the article, the hospital spent $70.7 million delivering 15,938 babies in 2004 but managed to end up with almost $8 million dollars in surplus funding. Medicaid kicked
in $34.5 million, Dallas County taxpayers kicked in $31.3 million and the feds tossed in another $9.5 million.

The average patient in Parkland 's maternity wards is 25 years old, married and giving birth to her second child. She is also an illegal immigrant. By law, pregnant women cannot be denied medical care based on their immigration status or ability to pay.

OK, fine. That doesn't mean they should receive better care than everyday, middle-class American citizens. But at Parkland Hospital , they do.

" Parkland Memorial Hospital has nine prenatal clinics. NINE.

The Dallas Morning News article followed a Hispanic woman who was a patient at one of the clinics and pregnant with her third child---her previous two were also born at Parkland . Her first two deliveries were free and the Mexican native was grateful because it would have cost $200 to have them in Mexico . This time, the hospital wants her to pay $10 per visit and $100 for the delivery but she was unsure if she could come up with the money. Not that it matters, the hospital won't turn her away. (I wonder why they even bother asking at this point.)

"How long has this been going on? What are the long-term affects?

Well, another subject of the article was born at Parkland in 1986 shortly after her mother entered the U.S. illegally---now she is having her own child there as well. (That's right, she's technically a U.S. citizen.) These women receive free prenatal care including medication, nutrition, birthing classes and child care classes. They also get freebies such as car seats, bottles, diapers and formula.

Most of these things are available to American citizens as well but only for low-income applicants and even then, the red tape involved is almost insurmountable.

Because these women are illegal immigrants, they do not have to provide any sort of legitimate identification---no proof of income. An American citizen would have to provide a social security number which would reveal their annual income---an illegal immigrant need only claim to be poor and the hospital must take them at their word.

"My husband is a pilot for the United States Navy (yes, he fought in Iraq ) and while the health care is good, we Navy wives don't get any of these perks! Car seats? Diapers? Not so much. So my question is this: Does our public medical care system treat illegal immigrants better than American citizens? Yes it does!

As I mentioned, the care I have received is perfectly adequate but it's bare bones, meat and potato medical care---not top of line.

Their (the illegals) medical care is free---simply because they are illegal immigrants? Once again, there is no way to verify their income.

Parkland Hospital offers indigent care to Dallas County residents who earn less than $40,000 per year. (They also have to prove that they did not refuse health coverage at their current job. Yeah, the 'free' care is not so easy for Americans.)

There are about 140 patients who received roughly $4 million dollars for un-reimbursed medical care. As it turns out, they did not qualify for free treatment because they resided outside of Dallas County So the hospital is going to sue them! Illegals get it all free! But U.S citizens who live outside of Dallas County get sued! How stupid is this?

As if that isn't annoying enough, the illegal immigrant patients are actually complaining about hospital staff not speaking Spanish. In this AP story, the author speaks with a woman who is upset that she had to translate comments from the hospital staff into Spanish for her husband. The doctor was trying to explain the situation to the family and the mother was forced to translate for her husband who only spoke Spanish. This was apparently a great injustice to her.

In an attempt to create a Spanish-speaking staff, Parkland Hospital is now providing incentives in the form of extra pay for applicants who speak Spanish. Additionally, medical students at the University of Texas Southwestern for which Parkland Hospital is the training facility will now have a Spanish language requirement added to their already jammed-packed curriculum. No other school in the country boasts such a ridiculous multi-semester (multicultural) requirement.

This needs wide circulation----particularly to our "employees" in Congress.)

Bush thinks he can strong-arm 15 of these 19 Republicans into changing their mind on the amnesty bill. He wants to "see you at the bill signing." Target these 19, and tell them not to give into Bush's plan to ruin our country!

Highly debated immigration bill to return to Senate floor

11:22 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2007

In a short bipartisan statement, the Senate Democratic and Republican leaders announced the immigration bill will return to the senate floor.

Video: Click Here for Video

Under the deal, opponents will be allowed to offer some 20 amendments to change what they don't like about the bill. A breakthrough after intense behind closed doors negotiations lead by senators who vowed not to give up.

"Doing nothing is not an alternative," Democratic Senator Ted Kennedy said. "It's not an alternative. This issue isn't going away."

"If we don't try, this problem that has bedeviled us for years will continue," Republican Senator John Kyl said.

The highly controversial immigration compromise has generated emotional opposition from all sides. Especially the provisions allowing millions of illegal immigrants a chance at citizenship, a temporary guest worker program, and a change in immigration law that puts more emphasis on employment needs than family ties.

Senate Republicans say a renewed presidential push helped seal the deal. Hours before the breakthrough, President Bush tried to persuade skeptical conservatives the bill really would help secure the border.

"I support an amendment that will provide $4.4 billion in immediate additional funding for securing our borders and enforcing our laws at the work site," Bush said.

"It gives people security. I mean it gives people the confidence to know that we're serious about enforcement. People have a hard time believing that Washington means it this time," Republican Senator Mel Martinez said.

Feminism From a Single Woman Who Rebukes Authority

I watched a great movie with my swanky Iranian boyfriend, who couldn't be a better man if he tried. Boyfriend is NOT muslim by the way, he's Persian Baha'i.

The movie is called "Not Without My Daughter" with Sally Field. It's about an American woman married to an Iranian muslim man, they leave the States to visit Iran and he holds her and their daughter hostage in Iran while becoming violent and possessive. He reverts to his muslim ways. I recommend it to everyone.

While watching the movie I saw a lot of the things I went through with my ex-husband - the control, hitting, manipulation and it all made me think about the way I felt about our life together, my place in the relationship and how much I hated him.

At the time of being married to a complete idiot, I HATED my place as a woman and I embraced a lot of the ideas that feminists carry. simply because I was placing everything I hated in my life onto him. I hated cleaning FOR him, I hated cooking FOR him, staying home taking care of our daughter FOR him while he was out drinking our money away or cheating on me.

I remember feeling like a slave in my own life. Like nothing was changing and when my life was over I would have nothing to be proud of except supporting HIM in HIS career! He wasn't worth my time!

It was ALWAYS me who did everything that needed to be done, from caring for our child to cooking and cleaning to mowing the lawns and repairing our vehicles. The guy was a waste of any womans time and when he did have one or two responsibilities he always managed to fuck them up or just refused to do them. I learned that I couldn't trust anyone but myself. The whole experience made me angry and hating my place as a woman.

He was never home since the first year of our daughters birth. I have essentially slept alone for the last 17 years. I am amazed by that myself!

If I dared get angry about anything it resulted in some form of "punishment" or physical injury. He has always been angry that I got away and he's tried many times to "get me" but my daughter and I have survived it all.

That was all back in 1999, when I finally felt my daughter was old enough for me to leave him. Leaving him was without question the BEST decision I could have made in my life! I was happier almost immediately! Our standard of living went up by about 500% and my daughter and I have had some great times together! Something that never could have happened had I stayed with him constantly cleaning up after him and taking care of everything at home.

Now, after all of these years of being on my own and dealing with everything I have looked back at how I used to feel like I was doing everything FOR him.

The fact is.....feminism uses my very genetic make up against me. It teaches that women do these things FOR men and as a single woman of many years I can tell you that I LIKE things to be a certain way! I LIKE my home to be clean and neat, I like to have flowers everywhere and to keep busy around the house. I LIKE being a woman! I just didn't like who I was married to!

I never did any of that for him, I did it because I'm a woman and I like being a woman. I have kept my home super clean for the last 8 years without any stupid man around to shit it up and so shall I until I die.

If I had a 1/2 acre yard again, I would mow it again too! I would still have a huge flower bed every place possible and I would still love hanging out with kids more than adults.

I do these things for myself because I love being a woman.

Now I have a boyfriend and he's a little tank of muscle, he's a total guy and he enjoys guy things. I brought him into my apartment and I showed him some of my paintings on the walls but he didn't care.....he sat at the computer and watched racing videos. Oh, he tried to be polite about it but his attention span was about 3.4 seconds. As soon as he saw there were racing videos on the computer I may as well not have been in the room. It's OK! He's a guy and I'm a girl...of course we aren't going to be into the same things. Yes, I could get mad that he's "not sensitive" or that he has different interests but honestly.......come on! He's a big teddy bear!

So ladies, next time some feminist voice makes you feel like you are less than what you think you are, just remember that you are the Queen of your castle and that castle reflects who YOU are, not your stupid, filthy, meat eating husband. LOL!!!

Just remember that no one can make you happy - that's YOUR job! Do what makes you feel happy and NEVER offer the credits of what you achieve to anyone but YOU!

And don't get mad because your man has different interests than you - I see a lot of women being offended over silly things. Me, I'm amused by male behavior - as long as it doesn't involve being an idiot....like SOME men I have *ahem*...been married to.....

I enjoy sharing in things that men like...I learn new things and almost always it results in some form of laughing at the man.
