Young People and Our Future

It seems in our society we hear a lot of bad things about our young people. The few bad ones ruin things for the many good by creating the need for stricter laws and regulations and often decrease the availability of teen activities that would otherwise be available in communities. This is actually quite sad considering all of the technology that we have, being in the wealthiest Country on the planet. "Those damned kids are skating on the sidewalks, theyre hurting themselves and each other, theyre into drugs and they steal"......its always the same old thing that I hear and I have to say that I damned tired of it! I dont want to hear bad things about our kids anymore. They try! They are our innovation and we should show them a lot more HONEST support than we do! That means we should offer them better opportunities and show them that we love them by BEING instead of BUYING.

Aside from absorbing something Naturally Devine, like a flower or a great view, nothing truly makes me happier than to see young people doing something they are passionate about.Dancing, Motocross, Acting, Playing an Instrument..the laughter of children is the best music there is!

When will we wake up and realize that our tax dollars should go to huge complexes that offer Tennis, Chess, Swimming, Science Labs, Movies, Gym, Library, Rock Climbing, etc? This isnt money being spent on day care or troubled teens, its a place that invokes thought and personal growth.

This Country is failing in the Science arena because we dont spend enough money there, so why not invest in our children and guide them into something positive while supporting the Scientific growth of our Country? Stop holding them back and give them the tools, they wont disappoint!!

When you look at the big scheme of Life.our kids really have so little. TV is not a parent!.The next time you are out and about, pay attention to the kids around you and try to see them without your parental judgment glasses on. You will be impressed and you will find something in your heart that is uplifting and real.

I have great faith in our kids and I know they will find their way. The old will stand in awe of the feats of the young and they will show us the errors of our ways. They will resurrect the past and lead the future. Dont put them down but have some faith and appreciation.you will be impressed!!
