I'm a little bit angry that they show only whites having the good life because this isn't a race thing. If we could have any wish it would be that no people (especially children) never have to suffer such an existence. It's painful to know that some people endure these things. It makes us more grateful for what we have in America and we do what we can to help others.

"THE DEMON SLAYER"

You know Samantha I never even thought of that before or after I re-posted it for Debbie. Thanks for drawing my attention to it.

Well I'm sure the person who made this was just looking for contrast but it makes it seem like it's one peoples fault that another is without or suffering and that isn't the case.

I appreciate the message and feel terrible that there are places in the world where any living thing must endure such conditions. Life is so unfair and tragic at times.

These people have a very rough environment to deal with and no real resources. I'm sure they would have done much more constructive things with money earned had they held the oil instead of the middle east.

This is VERYsad to see. Believe it or not, Africa is full of resources just as you eluded to. The biggest problem in Africa is corruption in the government. There are a lot of organizations that go to help feed these poeple, but it's funnled through governemnts and the UN, neither of which I trust. That's one reaosn why I don't give to organizations like UNICEF. It's a shame, because the people don't have the means to make it on their own. A lot fo them are resourcful with what they have. But droughts lead to famine. And governments don't do a thing about it and limit outside aid.

Yes, thats what I was saying, they don't have equipment to drill for water or even materials really to build houses. The corruption is, as you said, terrible and there are circumstances that are out of the control of others. The U.N is just another red door for any processes to walk through, they DON'T do an ounce of good!

Any one of us would solve the world's problems if we could, wouldn't we!

Yeah. There's nothing worse than seeing people suffer, especially needlessly. I know she is prolly a liberal. But, I have a lot fo respect for Angelina Jolie. If I'm not mistaken though, her work over there is through the UN. But, it's refreashing to see someone from Hollywood doing something positive to help people with their money. And of course, we both know that Rush does some wonderful philanthropic work, especially with Leukemia research.

Anyway, thanks for sharing this in your blog.
