Classical Music Passions
Current mood: content
Category: Life

I'm not a big Rachmaninov fan, his music is so militant in my opinion, but E.K really makes this piece sound great!

I also dislike Bach, whos work is so Baroque and choppy to me. And I also dislike Beethoven whos music is neurotic for me. Both I feel wrote their music with the lack of feeling true passion about love. All of the best music is about love! ALL of it!!!! Theres just something about love that brings music together in a magical way. Tune and verse!

I like Chopin because his music has multi-levels of play - these soul piercing tunes in the front with something to massage in the back. He was passionate about life and his music has true dynamics that keep your attention!

Tchaikovsky tells the best stories, thats why I like him the best. XOXOXO

Pachebel is also a good story teller but only a few pieces are celebrated. (i.e., Canon) - Kissin needs to play Pachebel and then it would be nice!!

I see too many people (and weirdos) that think they can play Pachelbel on a guitar! or a piano! Sounds terrible!! His work is extremely intense and the music has to be JUST so for it sound right! It has many levels and descriptions and only an absolute expert could play any of his work properly on one instrument!

Thats my opinion!

I think if Chopin were alive today and heard Kissin play his work he would say, "He plays it better than I had written it."

Kissin interprets the music perfectly! Personally, I have not heard Chopin as well as from E.K! Every breath of every note, every pause, every level of tone, all perfect!! Chopin is complicated, as is Tchaikovsky. Chopin has very slight roll overs of tone that must be kept, they are like secrets in the story and Kissin is PERFECT with that!!!

I would date a guy like Kissin!
