| CALL FOR RESIGNATION OF UNITED STATES SENATOR JON KYL, (R-AZ) Press Release 5/17/07 Mothers Against Illegal Aliens demands the Immediate Resignation of Senator Jon Kyl (R-AZ). Senator Kyl has personally met with and made promises to members of MAIA and the President/Founder of Mothers Against Illegal Aliens, Michelle Dallacroce, that he did not and would not support Amnesty in any way, shape or form or consider "rewarding" those who have broken our laws and violated our sovereign territory. Prior to Senator Kyl's re-election, MAIA met with Senator Kyl and discussed with him, the positions that he held on illegal immigration as well as on the issue of anchor baby citizenship - and the adverse impact that both had on the legal children of the USA. Senator Kyl agreed with MAIA's position that the negative impact would be far reaching and would totally disregard the legal and constitutional rights of America's children - and that the births of millions of children born to Illegal Alien Parents was, is and will continue to be - devastating to our children's future. Senator Kyl, by the negative action he participated in as a "bagman and/or water boy" for Kennedy and Bush - and as a member of the Senate Conference Committee on Immigration Reform - has betrayed his State of Arizona and the Mothers of America! The mothers and families of the USA - and especially those who are his constituents in Arizona - DEMAND - that he immediately resign from his position as a United States Senator from the State of Arizona. Senator Kly does not represent the 80-90% of Arizonans who do not want, and in fact - openly oppose Amnesty and REWARDS of any kind. His very secret, yet flagrant and public disregard of existing immigration statutes and the Rule of Law sends a clear message that White House Campaign dollars really DID and DO play a role and have important influence in the position that Senator Kyl has decided to take on this and related issues. That he chose to be the water boy for the President and Senator Kennedy, flies in the face of the promises he made which got him re-elected. The people of Arizona are disgusted, outraged and humiliated by such a "sellout!" Senator Kyl discussed the 14th Amendment and the inappropriate application claimed by the advocates of illegal aliens - which is not law and does not exist His position in the Fall of 06, made it clear that he understood that the interpretation and the intent of the authors of the 14th Amendment were being misrepresented. And to that end - he assigned one of his staffers to continue to work with MAIA - an action that never occurred. In general, Senator Kyle agreed with MAIA that our children and their future were going to be seriously displaced and that he supported the efforts of MAIA. NOW, as recently as today, Senator Kyl's D.C. staffers made the argument that it would take a Constitutional Amendment to prevent anchor baby citizenship when indeed that was not the position of Jon Kyl in the fall of 2006. And, more so, Jon Kyl, rather than include legislation on the issue of anchor baby citizenship in this latest bill, is responsible for the reports that indicate that he and other U.S. Senators are not inclined to include or address the issue of anchor baby citizenship. It is absolutely clear that Senator Kyl's involvement in this "most secret of secret deals" was to carry water for the President as payment for the 3 MILLION DOLLAR fund raising efforts of the President and the First lady, relative to his re-election bid in the Fall of 2006. Jon Kyl had 3 million reasons why he quietly and secretly supported the White House Treason, and for those 3 million reasons he needs to do the right thing and immediately resign! He insisted and urged us to "TRUST HIM" - AND WE DID! NOW, we have many reasons to seek his immediate resignation - AND WE DO!!
